September threw us a few curveballs at North Twenty Place, but the team is handling it like pros!
Weather has been a significant factor this month, with wind gusts exceeding 30 km/h, halting crane operations. Swamp mats remain in place on-site in case they are needed again for equipment access, though site conditions have improved since the heavy rain in August.
The second-floor walls are 98% installed, with only a small portion remaining unfinished due to heavy winds preventing crane operations. The parkade floor slab, originally scheduled for completion this month, has been delayed, but the team is focused on completing it within the next two weeks!
Today, we’re kicking off the third-floor hollowcore installation—check out that awesome aerial view of the first-level suites! The plan is to have the entire structure, roof included, completed by November 8, with shingling to follow right after.
As we move into October, our main focus is completing the remaining structural walls and installing the hollowcore slabs. The weather has thrown us a bit of wind, quite literally, but we’re rolling with it! Even with a few gusty delays, the team is pressing on with determination, and we’re confident in keeping things on track.
