It’s been a chilly few weeks—so cold, in fact, that we briefly held the title of the coldest place on Earth! But even with winter in full force, progress at North Twenty Place is hot hot hot! The fourth floor has been fully cleared of snow (even between the wall studs), and the roof sheathing is scheduled to wrap up this Friday. The siding team has arrived for a full assessment, and once the roof and shingles are on, work can safely ramp up underneath.

Inside the building, the mechanical team is making steady progress. Drain connections are being completed on the third floor while they sort out the layout for the fourth. Steel stud work on the second floor is done, and the focus has now shifted to the parkade. Meanwhile, the electrical team has wrapped up work on the second floor and is making some adjustments before moving ahead.
In the garage, framing and electrical rough-ins were completed a few weeks ago, but with the winter weather in full force, we’re holding off on installing the garage doors and siding until conditions improve. Some framing rectifications were needed due to work done by previous framers, and adjustments were made for AC locations to meet code requirements— a bit of additional mechanical coring is also on the list.
On the homeowner front, we are going to continue verifying your homeowner selections, with some cabinet shifts required to accommodate fridge operations. Unit 308 just sold (great news and welcome to the community!), and details are being finalized for the trades. Two owners have already walked through and signed off, and the rest will be scheduled as each suite reaches completion.
More updates to come as things warm up and work keeps moving forward!
