We’re in the home stretch, and the team has been busy getting everything ready for move-ins. We’ve been working diligently at the office to ensure our spreadsheets are up-to-date, finalizing the condo manuals, and aiming to make this transition as smooth as possible for everyone.
Pre-move-in walkthroughs are scheduled for the week of March 10th-14th! Our Service Manager, Clayton Wourms is scheduled to be in Diamond Valley for March 10th to complete the Pre-Inspection Walk-throughs with you, so if there are any last-minute changes let us know. We’ve scheduled a photographer to be on-site on Monday, March 17th, and furniture move-ins will commence on March 18th!
Inside, we’re making good progress. All the suites have their flooring and cabinetry done. The final coat of paint on the 4th floor is kicking off on March 3rd, and the hallways will get their final paint around the 15th. We’re waiting to install the hallway carpet until around March 12th, to keep it nice and clean for move-ins. Plus, the kitchen and bathroom fixtures have all been installed, so that’s another milestone that has been reached.
Outside, the building is looking fantastic! The siding is practically done—just a tiny patch left that we’re waiting on materials for. Deck railings and glass installation are seeing real progress; the 4th and 3rd floors are complete, and the 2nd floor is underway.
As for major installations, the elevator is on track to be completed by March 13th, followed by testing and inspections. We’re also excited to share that permanent power is now active, with lights shining in all suites.
At this stage of the build, we’re coordinating with multiple inspectors—Fire, Elevator, and Building—each dependent on the other to sign off before we move forward. We’re scheduling and booking accordingly to keep everything on schedule, ensuring your new home is move-in ready.
There are just a few final touches left, and while you may see some minor finishing work during walkthroughs and move-ins, nothing will interfere with your transition. Things are coming together, and we can’t wait to welcome you home soon!
